Kevin Ross Burgard, age 29, passed away peacefully Saturday, February 14, 2004, in the Cleveland Clinic. The son of Dave and Marilyn (Sartor) Burgard he was born December 27, 1974 in Toledo, OH. Kevin graduated from St. Mary's Catholic Central High School in 1993 and continued his education at Monroe Community College where he studied engineering. He worked for Modern Engineering in Kalamazoo, MI where he lived with his wife, Lynn, and their lab, Dozer. Kevin loved to hunt, fish, play golf and win at fantasy football.
Kevin is survived by his loving wife, Lynn Holmes-Burgard; parents Marilyn (Dave) Burgard; brothers, Fr. David Burgard, Paul Burgard and Jeff (Tina) Burgard; sister-in-law, Kris (Seger) Burgard; grandmother, Otillia Kirkham; mother-in-law, Chris Holmes, and father-in-law, Rick Holmes. He will be missed by many other family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ross (Hattie) Burgard; grandfather, Bill Kirkham and brother, Michael John Burgard.

Pawlak Funeral Home, Temperance, MI, on Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. where a scripture service will be held at 7 p.m. Funeral services will begin Wednesday at 9:15 a.m. in the funeral home and continue on with the Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Joseph Catholic Church in Erie, MI.
