About her husband's death she said: "My husband, Sam, and I had a great deal of love for each other and enjoyed our long life together. It was a worry when he had a heart attack. He had to watch what he did for two years prior to his death. Then the last attack came while he was doctoring a sick cow and he continued to get worse. He died 14 August 1960, and was buried in Dublan, Mexico."
The information for this memorial came from the Colonia Dublan Church records (FHL film #35,127) The El Paso, Texas marriage records (FHL film #25,060) LDS Church Census for the years 1950, 1955, 1960 (FHL film #427,853) and a history that Sarah wrote about her life.
