Russell Bosworth Winn, Jr., 79, of St. Augustine, died Dec. 6, 2006, at his home. Mr. Winn was a native of Oneida, N.Y., and had lived in the Daytona Beach and St. Augustine area since 1971. Mr. winn was a heavy equipment operator and later worked in security at St. Augustine General Hospital for nine years. Mr. Winn served his country in the U.S. Navy during World War II and in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the American Legion and the Homeport Christian Church.
Services: 1 p.m. Tuesday at Homeport Christian Church. Calling hours: 5-7 p.m. Monday at Craig Funeral Home Chapel. Burial: St. Augustine Memorial Park Cemetery.
Survivors: His wife of 21 years, Henrietta; step-sons, Steve Stanaland and Robert Stanaland, both of St. Augustine; step-daughter, Diana Stanaland, Salt Springs, Fla.; sister, Norma June Zona, Port Orange; brothers, John Winn, Cazenovia, N.Y., and Norman Winn, Chittenango; one granddaughter and several nieces and nephews.
