PawPaw and granny love making a big garden, granny love canning our Smokehouse Cellar was always full. I can still remember the soft and sweet smellin' flour sack night gowns she would make us on her old pedal sewing machine. Pawpaw and granny was such a big part of my sister, brother and my life growing up, they were kind, caring and loving. Words can't describe how much they BOTH meant to us!! They gave us a Special Gift..."Love" and "Memories" which is perhaps the best gifts of all!!! We Love And Miss You So Much Granny and Pawpaw! I remember pawpaw and granny loved porch sittin' in their rockin' chairs in the late summer evening's. Mommy would keep several of her cows in the barn lot to keep the grass grazed down, pawpaw and granny love watchin' the cows graze, I remember the conversation's were few, just enjoying the quiet peacefulness and probably reminiscing of long ago.

❦☕❦ IN LOVE AND REMEMBRANCE OF YOU OUR SWEET GRANNY ❦☕❦

GRANNY'S FAVORITE GOSPEL SONG:
I'LL MEET YOU IN THE MORNING

GRANNY, THANK YOU FOR WATCHING OVER ME AND LOVING ME LIKE I WAS YOUR VERY OWN, WHILE MOMMY WAS WORKING SO HARD FEEDIN' CHICKENS AND MILKIN' COWS. DAYS GONE BY, THEY ARE JUST A MEMORY NOW, BUT IT'S THE MEMORIES THAT I WILL REMINISCE AND CHERISH ALWAYS! THE HOT SUMMER AFTERNOONS YOU WOULD ROCK ME TO SLEEP ON YOUR LAP AND FAN ME WITH A FOLDED NEWSPAPER THE ENTIRE TIME I WAS ASLEEP. THE GOOD HOT BUNS, CORN SCRAPED OFF THE COB AND COOKED IN YOUR OLD IRON SKILLET, ICE TEA BOILED IN A POT AND STRAINED THROUGH A FLOUR SACK DISH RAG, WERE MY FAVORITE...NOTHIN' EVER TASTED SO GOOD! THE COLD WINTER NIGHTS, YOU WOULD WRAP MY COLD LITTLE FEET UP IN THE TAIL OF YOUR SOFT WARM FLANNEL NIGHTGOWN AS I SLEPT. SO THANK YOU AGAIN GRANNY, FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART FOR ALL THE THINGS YOU DONE FOR ME....JUST TO PROVE HOW MUCH YOU LOVED ME. DEATH DOES NOT HAVE THE POWER TO TAKE THE MEMORIES SO PRECIOUS, YOU'LL NEVER BE FORGOTTEN...YOU WILL ALWAYS BE REMEMBERED AND LOVED UNTIL WE MEET ON THE GOLDEN SHORES OF HEAVEN, THAT IS WHEN THE BEST IS YET TO BE..........
