Michael Alsaker, age 58 of Lindstrom, formerly of Forest Lake, Minnesota passed away suddenly on August 31, 2012. Mike is preceded in death by his father, Norman Alsaker and brother, David Alsaker. He is very loved and will be missed by his wife of 26 years, Deann; their seven children, Rachel (Ed) Bonach & their children, Eddy and Elaina; Samantha (Brett) Marx and their children, Mason, Isaac & McKendra; Adrian (Mike) Wilson; Jordan, Samson, Gabriel & Seth Alsaker. He has also left his mother, Almeda; sister-in-law, Sue Alsaker; siblings, Paul (Sari) Alsaker, Daniel (Terry) Alsaker, John (Amy) Alsaker, Susan (Johnny) Gerlach; and many nieces, nephews and extended family. Mike was a thoughtful, gift-giving, merciful man who enjoyed playing his guitar, riding motorcycle, sharing old memories and funny jokes. A good time for Mike, would simply be sitting with you for a spell and enjoying a Coke and a smoke. Above all, he loved his family and cherished the time spent with them.
A Celebration of Mike's life will be held at 6:30 p.m., Wednesday, September 5, 2012 at Mattson Funeral Home, 343 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake. The family will greet friends from 4:00 p.m. until the celebration at the funeral home.
