Milton Bukofsky (90) passed away peacefully at home in Encino surrounded by his family. Born in St. Paul, MN, he attended the University of Minnesota and moved his young family to Los Angeles in 1956, where he built a successful manufacturers representative business, in which he proudly continued to work until his passing. A lover of tennis and music, he was a self-taught pianist. Milt took much pleasure singing with local choral groups, one of which performed at Carnegie Hall. Predeceased by his sisters Alma and Rose, Milt is survived by his devoted wife of 64 years, Ethel, his daughter Susan Wallace (Dennis), son Ward Bukofsky (Mari), beloved grandchildren Brandon Wallace (Jennifer), Carlye Wallace, Jessica Bukofsky (fiancee Howard Dorre), Erin Bukofsky; and precious great-granddaughters Lily and Brooke Wallace. The family wishes to extend our gratitude to Milt's compassionate and skilled caregivers Henrietta and Marie who were pillars of strength and comfort.
Funeral services will be held at Eden Memorial Park in Mission Hills, Wednesday, February 20, 2013 at 11a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to your favored charity will be much appreciated.
