MARY MORRISON ATES
Mary Morrison Ates, age 66 of Gainesville, passed away Friday, February 25, 2005 in Gainesville. She was born in Evergreen, AL, moved to Gainesville, FL in December of 1990, and was of the Baptist Faith.
She is survived by her husband, Marv Ates of Gainesville; one daughter, Meshelle Smith and husband Greg of Gainesville; one granddaughter, Lindsay Smith of Gainesville; sisters, Juanita McCreary of Cantonment, Sandra Cave of Milton, and Brenda Windham of Evergreen, AL; brothers, Chester Morrison of East Brewton, AL, Joe Morrison and Jimmy Morrison, both of Evergreen, AL, and Donald Morrison of Montgomery, AL.
Funeral services for Mrs. Ates, will be at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 1, 2005 in the Lewis Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Fred Rogers, pastor of First Assembly of God Church In Milton, and Dr. Joe Bamberg, former pastor of First Baptist Church in Milton, officiating.
Burial will follow in Milton Cemetery with Lewis Funeral Home directing.
The Family will receive friends in the Lewis Funeral Home, Monday evening from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Active pallbearers will be Ray Sutton, Howard Rogers, Jim McCreary, Gerald Cave, Jim Quigley, and Tim Quigley.
LEWIS FUNERAL HOME is in charge of arrangements.
