Johnnie C. Johnson Jr. of Bolivar died Monday morning, June 27, 2011, at his home in Bolivar.

Johnnie "John" Clifton Johnson Jr., age 50, of Bolivar, Missouri, passed away Monday morning, 3:10am, at his place of residence.

John C. was born September 17, 1960 in Nevada, Missouri, the son of John C. Johnson Sr. and Louise L. Scarborough.

He was united in marriage to Patsy Jean Vest on August 26, 1994.

John C. was a celebrated veteran of the United States Air Force.

John C. is preceded in death by his parents, John C. Johnson, Sr. and Louise L. Johnson.

He is survived by his wife Patsy of the home; his daughter Amanda Hemsworth; his three grandchildren; Natasha Bozarth, Haley Redd, and Ethan Hemsworth; and three siblings; Carol Ellingsworth, Barbara Vest, and Susan Miley.

John C. was an avid Kansas City Chiefs fan, he enjoyed taking long rides on his Harley, and watching his granddaughters play softball.

Visitation will be held at 10:00am Friday, July 1st, 2011 at Butler Funeral Home in Bolivar, Missouri. John C's wishes was to have cremation following the visitation on Friday morning. There will be a private inurnment at Missouri Veterans Cemetery, just south of Springfield, at a later date.

JJ was a friend of mine. Earlier in my life back in Kansas City. We shared a love of many things. Rest in Peace old friend. Gone but never forgotten.
