Sister Mable K. Andrews, the daughter of the late Johnny B. and Donnie Bell Jackson, was born May 03, 1935 in Terrell County, GA.

Her education was received in the public schools of Terrell County, GA.

On December 24, 1951, she wed her beloved sweetheart, Charlie Frank ‘Big Brown' Andrews. Together they raised six children, Janet (Mitchell), Lawrence (Somer), Charlene (Ernest), Charles Christopher (John), Priscilla (deceased) and Sheila (Eric).

She was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses in her early teens and served faithfully until the end. She loved preaching and teaching the Good News of God's Kingdom.

Momma had a deep affection for her son-in-law, Ernest, with whom she shared many special times.

She loved to bake and cook. Until her death, she always wanted to make sure that everybody ate and would always say, "What in the world am I going to cook for your daddy?" Her favorite food was baked sweet potatoes.

Other than singing Kingdom songs, she enjoyed listening to Kenny G and Barbara Streisand. We could never capture the many warm memories and love she shared with us.

Our beloved mother and God-fearing Servant of Jehovah transitioned peacefully in her sleep on March 10, 2011 at Dawson Health and Rehabilitation, Dawson, GA. She was surrounded with the loving care of her sister, Jeneva Harris and daughter, Sheila Andrews Riley. In addition to her parents and daughter, she was preceded in death by her brothers, John Jackson and Ulyssee Jackson and sister, Maime Lee Jackson.

In addition to her children, her surviving siblings are Jeneva, Jessie, Belvin, Katherine, Ann, Dorothy, Brenda and Mattie. The most loving grandmother, she leaves to mourn her grandchildren: Mansa Laurel, Torrey, Preston, Omar Ezekiel, Elisha, Tony, Elisha Juan, Prentiss, Bryan and her namesake, Katelian. She will be dearly missed by her close friend, Sister Geraldine Seay.

Our sincere appreciation is extended to the staff and management of Dawson Health and Rehabilitation and United Hospice Services for the diligent care provided.
