William Nash Cole, born to the loving union of Lucy E Saunders and Willie Cole on November 26, 1925 in Detroit, Michgan. He was one of fourteen children. As a youth he was a member of Greater Zion Missionary Baptist Church. He recieved his education at East Detroit public school.
On May 8, 1944 he was inducted into the United States Navy, where he served 2 years. On October 17, 1948 he was united in marriage to Pearline Harris and the lord blessed this untion with nine children, five boys and four girls.
William N Cole departed this life on October 29, 1995 at his residence. He was a loving Father, Grandfather, Great Grandfather, Uncle and a friend to many.
He leaves to cherish his memories his wife Pearline Cole of Clinton Township, Mi: Five sons, Dwight Cole of Harrison Twp., Mi. Darryl L (Tina) Cole of Detroit, Korvin Cole of Atlanta, Georgia, Brian L. Cole of Mt. Clemens, Lance Cole of Roseville, Mi.: Four daughters, Darcell A Cole of Detroit, Mi, Regina, Marlla, and Marva Cole of Clinton Twp., two daughters-in-laws, thirty-two grandchildren and six graet-grandchildren.
He also leaves to cherish his memories one brother; John B Cole of Columbus, Ohio. Three sisters; Mary E. Cole, Mrs. Lena M McCrary and Mrs. Barbara Johnson of Detroit, Mi. One adopted brother, Henry Jones of Mt. Clemens, Three sister-in-laws and Two brother-in-laws. He was preceded in death by his loving Father Willie Cole, loving Mother Lucy E Jones and nine brothers and sisters, also a host of nieces, nephews and many other relatives and friends.
Service held Saturday, November 4, 1995 at 12:00 Noon; at Harold E. Vick Funeral, 140 South Main Street, Mt. Clemens, Mi 48043.
