He was born on May 25, 1941, in Waco, Texas, the son of Sims Miller and Katherine Alexander. He was preceded in death by his parents, and one infant son, Albert Miller Alexander, Jr.
Mr. Alexander previously owned Al's Yamaha and Harley-Davidson Motorcycle and recently was the owner of American Auto. He was an avid car enthusiast and handyman extraordinaire his entire life. He loved cars, motorcycles, and NASCAR and cherished his daughters, granddaughters, and close friends and extended family.
He is survived by two daughters and one son-in-law, Rachelle McClard of Hot Springs, and Angela and Cliff Lumpkin of Vestavia Hills, Alabama; one brother and sister-in-law, Michael and Cathy Michalak of Waco, Texas; one sister, Connie Hickman of Shreveport, Louisiana; and three granddaughters, Alex McClard and Rachel McClard, both of Hot Springs and Olivia Lumpkin of Vestavia Hills, Alabama; and also nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
Friends and family will gather for a celebration of his life at Rachelle's home on Thursday, December 22, 2011 at 6:00PM.
