Michael Jay Bargas was born in Modesto, California. He was the son of Eva Marie (Crow) and Randolph James Mello. Michael has two sisters, Martha Marie (Bargas) Owen and Desirae Michelle Bargas. He was the grandson of Aidren Leon Crow of Heber Springs, Arkansas and Martha Louise (Earl) Crow, of Mena, Arkansas.

He was united in marriage to Eva Marie Webb. They were blessed with two sons, Michael James Bargas and Ezra Jack Bargas. Michael's passion was his family, being a loving husband, father, son, grandson, nephew, and friend. Michael was a fun-loving person with a heart for others. He enjoyed playing the banjo, being mostly self taught. He is greatly missed.
