Howard "Lee" Clark was born on September 1, 1937, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, the fourth child of Samuel Wayne Clark (1907-1980) and Kathryne Pearl Gilbert Clark Magness (1909-1994). Lee was a 1955 graduate of Colton Union High School in Colton, California. He joined the Air Force and served with honor until he retired as a Chief Master Sergeant in 1985. Lee was a 1991 graduate of Southern Illinois University at Carbondale. He entered the Civil Service after retiring from the Air Force and worked there another 18 years, retiring as a GS-12. After that, he managaed a rental company in England. He died at 75 years, 4 months and 20 days on Monday, January 21, 2013, in Suffolk, England. He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters. He leaves to mourn his death his wife of Suffolk, England; his step-son; two brothers; and one sister. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, a few cousins, several aunts and uncles, and many friends. His military funeral service was held on Monday, Feb. 4, 2013, in England, and included a US flag for his widow, military honor guard, 21 gun salute and the playing of "Taps."
