One of the first Baptist Ministers to organize a church in Michigan.

Nehemiah Lamb was the son of Samuel and Tabitha Lamb and was born in Gorton, Connecticut.

His father Samuel Lamb married Tabitha Whitman in Gorton, Connecticut on July 31, 1774. They were married by the Elder Timothy Wightman.

The children of Samuel Lamb and Tabitha Whitman were all born in Groton, Connecticut and are as follows:
