Mrs. Ruth Helen Rendenna, 85, of Ansonville, passed away Monday, February 21, 2011.
The family will greet friends on Thursday, February 24, 2011, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Leavitt Funeral Home in Wadesboro. There will be a private graveside service in Bethlehem Cemetery in Ansonville.
Ruth was born on December 29, 1925, in St. Louis, Mo., a daughter of the late George and Helen Rose Schmidt Turnure. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and had worked with Moore Funeral Home in Wadesboro for forty years. While at the funeral home, she was not only a licensed funeral director, but assisted in many capacities there for the families served.
Her husband, Lewis Rendenna, preceded her in death. Surviving are her sons, Steve Brock of Charleston, S.C., Mark Brock of Charlotte, N.C., Gary Brock of Ruby, S.C., and Tim Brock of Chesterfield, S.C.; her four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Ansonville Fire and Rescue Squads, P.O. Box 437, Ansonville, NC, 28007.
