Funeral Services for Mrs. Prebble Lucille Hilliard, 90, of Thorndale, were held
on Saturday, January 29, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at Friendship United Methodist
Church near Buckholts with Rev. Richard Cromwell officiating. Burial followed at Friendship Cemetery. Mrs. Hilliard passed away on Jan. 25, 2011 at her home. Mrs. Hilliard was born July 1, 1920 in San Gabriel, Texas to David Ross and Prebble (Walker) McQuary. She was a homemaker and a member of Friendship United Methodist Church.
Preceded in death by her parents, a grandson Dallas Ray Numkena, brothers,Thomas E., James C. & Eugene D. McQuary, a sister Annie Margaret Pope. Survivors:
Husband: Harlan Hilliard of Thorndale
Sons: Joseph Hilliard of Harlingen, Michael Hilliard of Mont Belvieu, John Hilliard of Mont Belvieu and Richard Hilliard of Thorndale
Daughters: Susan Sekaquaptewa of Thorndale, Sydney Wischnewsky of Thorndale, Sara Williamson of Yakima, WA, Pauline Van Fleet of Santa Fe, NM and Gloria Webster of Santa Fe, NM
Brother: Sidney McQuary of Thorndale
Sisters: Irene Weydell of Rockdale and Dorothy Callaway of Beaumont
