Birth: 1833, Ireland
Death: Mar. 5, 1900
Cresson
Cambria County
Pennsylvania, USA

Michael C. Bradley was born in 1833 in Ireland to parents Michael Bradley (1793-1872), and Bridget Murray (1800-1883), both born in Ireland.
Michael was the fourth child in a family of eight known children. His brothers and sisters were: John Bradley (ca 1824-1896), Patrick J. Bradley (ca 1826-1910), Mary E. Bradley-Kearney (ca 1832-1911), Michael C. Bradley (1833-1900), Dennis Bradley (ca 1834-1898), Annie Bradley-Henry (1838-1904), Bridget Bradley-O'Riell (??-??), and James H. Bradley (1845-1906), all born in Ireland.
The Bradley family immigrated to the Baltimore, Maryland, area in 1850. Reportedly, their oldest son John was first to immigrate to the US and the whole family followed soon after John settled in Maryland. They lived a life of farming in Harford County until after the Civil War when the family relocated to Washington Twp, Cambria County, Pennsylvania, into a new farm.
While still in Maryland, Michael married Bridget Kearney in St. John the Evangelist Church, Baltimore County, Maryland on Apr 25, 1857.
Michael and Bridget lived at first in Harford County, Maryland, and later after the Civil War moved to Cambria County, Pennsylvania, where they settled into a life of farming. They had sixteen children. The following were born in Maryland: Mary Bradley, (1858-1872), Francis X. Bradley, (1859-1940), Susan Bradley-O'Donnell,(1861-1904), Jown W. Bradley, (1862-1910), James Bradley, (1864-1878), and the following born in Pennsylvania: Anna Bradley-Ehringer, (1865-?), Patrick Bradley, (1867-1881), and his twin, Michael Kearney Bradley (1867-1912), Sarah Belle Bradley, (1869-1878), Dennis Bradley, (1870-1870), Emma M. Bradley-Ingoldsby, (1872-1946), Elizabeth Bradley-McCabe, (1874-1918), Wilson Andrew Bradley, (1876-1963), Charles Bradley, (1877-1959), George H. Bradley, (1879-1967), and Scott Bradley, (1880-?).
Michael died on Mar 5, 1900. His wife had died the previous year, and they are both buried in St. Aloysius Cemetery.
