Anna Christine Nastale was born Jul 21, 1892, in Detroit, Wayne County, Michigan, to parents Francis Nastale (1853-1919) and Veronica Drozanowski/Druzan (1857-1942), both born in West Prussia.

Anna was the 11th child in a family of 17 or 18 children. Her brothers and sisters were: Barbara Nastale, born in Germany (1875-1875), Julia Nastale-Beyer, born in Germany (1877-1956), Mary Nastale-Rogowski, born in Germany (1880-1970), John Frank Nastale, born in Germany (1882-1957), Bridget Nastale, born in Germany (1883-ca 1929), and the following born in the United States (probably Detroit, Michigan): twin baby boys, died in infancy (1885-) and a baby girl, died in infancy (1886-), and the following born in Detroit, Michigan: Clara Nastale-Ostrowski (1887-1915), Mathilda Nastale (1889-1956), Anthony Nastale (1890-1930), Rose Nastale-Hoffman (1894-), Techla Tillie Nastale-Keller (1896-), Helen Nastale (1898-1935), Leo Lee Nastale (1900-1957), Cecelia K. Nastale (1902-1983), and Martha Nastale-Lucas (1904-).

On Jul 27, 1912, Anna married John Bruschitzki in Detroit, Michigan. John was born in Detroit to parents Julius Bruschitzki (1856-1917) and Ida Suckau (1856-1936), both born in West Prussia. The surname Bruschitzki (German spelling) has been spelled differently on several documents - Bruschitsky on the WW I Draft Card, Bruschitski on John's Social Security Record, and Brujitske on John's memorial card.

Anna and John settled in Detroit, Michigan, where John worked in the auto industry. They had five children: Leonard Julius Bruschitzki/Bridges (1913-2002), Alice Cecelia Bruschitzki-Mitchell (1914-2006), Helen Eleanor Bruschitzki-McGlynn (1915-1998), Leona Ann Bruschitzki-Bradley-Jarvis (1917-1988), and Carolyn Grace Bruschitzki-Kirkwood (1919-2002).

After her husband John died in 1964, Anna remained in Michigan, living with her daughter. Anna died Sep 14, 1974 in the Botsford Hospital in Farmington Hills. She and her husband are both buried in Glen Eden Cemetery. They are buried under the names John and Anna "Brujitske."
