Cora Belle ( Briggs ) Babcock was born in Montcalm, MI.

1869, I was told she was born 1868 )
Her father was Robert Briggs, who married Anna Macomber, at least they are listed as her parents on Belle's marriage certificate.
In 1889 March 14 th Cora Belle married Lewis Dennis Babcock, in Newton, MI. Sophrona Davis & Charles S. Davis were the witnesses to the marriage. B H Showers officiated the marriage.
They moved around quite a bit in different areas of Michigan. Calhoun County, Kent, Montcalm, Newton, and moved to South Bend, Indiana..

Cora Belle, sometimes went by the name of Belle, instead of Cora.
She moved to Los Angeles, CA. with her daughter Jennie Link, and her grandson Walter E. Babcock. I am not sure what year they moved to CA.
Cora Belle died Feb 9 1962 and was buried Feb 13 th 1962 somewhere in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Hollywood Hills CA.
I am the great grand-daughter of Cora Belle Babcock, and am searching for any information I can find on her.
Her daughter Pearl also married a Joseph Lozier ( Louzier )
Walter E. Babcock had 3 children that I know of. Two Girls, and one boy.. I don't know their names, but am guessing they were born between the years of 1951-1958. I believe their mother's first name was Nelma Babcock. I do wish I could find Walter E. Babcock's children. Walter died sometime in the 1980's. I think he lived in Pasadena, CA.
