South Carolina, USA

William T Chambers was the son of David and Mary Chambers.
The "History of Randolph, Monroe, Perry Counties" 1883 says that in 1820 arrived William Chambers and settled in the new town of Sparta. With him was a Thomas McDill who was married to his sister Mary. And William was married to Thomas's sister.
That first year one of Williams daughters was the first death in Sparta and was buried in Ebenezer Alexander's farm. Ebenerzer also traveled from South Carolina with William. The land was donated as a cemetery and is now called Bethel Burying Ground. Their children are Martha Elizabeth, Anna Lucinda. He married Rebecca Chalmers 1 Nov 1810 South Carolina. She died about 1813 and he married Jane Hopper 16 Apr 1818. (I feel she married a Widow Hopper and real name was McDill and would be related to Thomas McDill.) Their children are Mary Carloline, Rebecca L, Maria Amelia, David Lavinski Feranklin, William George Henry, Thomas Alexander Pulaski, Hannah K, Margaret M, Joseph Templeton.
