IDAHO FALLS, ID -- LeVon Joseph "Lee" Crow, 66, of Idaho Falls, passed away August 3, 2006, at his home. He was under the care of Hospice of Eastern Idaho.
Lee was born October 11, 1939, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Benjamin Arthur Crow and Esma Waters Crow. He grew up and attended schools in Iona. He lived in the Idaho Falls area most of his life.
Lee served his country for four years in the U. S. Navy at the young age of 18. The skills he learned on the ships he served on enabled him to retire from the INL site, where he worked on the same type of equipment he worked on while in the Navy.
On June 9, 1961, he married Shirley Ann Nelson. They had three children together and were later divorced. Lee married Wilma Lea Hall Rauch April 18, 1967, in Pocatello. She had six children of her own and together they had four more, so together they reared all 13 children. They also raised one granddaughter, Megan, from the time she was four months old, who was the apple of his eye. LeVon was selfless in his deeds as a parent. He gave everything he had to give his children a decent life. Wilma passed away March 28, 2001.
He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Lee enjoyed spending time with his family, camping, fishing, hunting, mining, and gardening.
