Mrs. Lena Barber, 73, of 54 Fisherville Rd., died yesterday morning at a Boscawen convalescent home. Born in Hanover, she lived in Concord for more than 50 years. Mrs. Barber was a past president of the Relief Corps, Hiawatha Degree of Pocohontas, the Dames of Malta and the Auxiliary of the Sons and Daughters of the Civil War.
She leaves a sister, Mrs. Calvin Kendall of Springfield, Mass.; two brothers, Roy Wood and Alfred Wood, both of Concord; nieces and nephews. Services will be conducted at the Boutwell Mortuary Thursday at 2 p.m. by Rev. John I Johnson of the West Congregational Church. Burial will be in Blossom Hill cemetery. Friends were invited to call at the mortuary.
