Mary Gesiakowski, age 66, of Romeoville and Ft. Meyers, FL, passed away from cancer on her 49th wedding anniversary surrounded by her loving family. Born June 3, 1946 in Chicago, to Edward and Elsie (Hartel) Rice. A 1964 graduate of Chicago Vocational. Retired from Dominick's after 25 years. Mary was a beloved wife, loving mother, and devoted grandmother. An avid golfer with two holes in one. Beloved wife of Gerald "Jerry" Gesiakowski; loving mother of Diane (Dan) Nowaczyk of Downers Grove and Robert (Lisa) Gesiakowski of Minooka; fond grandmother of Clayton, Dana, Carly, Paul and Kelly Nowaczyk; dear friend to many. Visitation will be Sunday, July 8, 2012 from 1 to 8 p.m. at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Rds., Joliet, IL 60431. Funeral services will be Monday, at 9 a.m. from funeral home to Cathedral of St. Raymond for Mass at 9:30 a.m. Interment St. Cecelia's Church Sacred Garden in Ft. Meyers, FL.
