Stanley Edward armstrong Jr. was the son of Stanley
Edward Armstrong Sr. and Judith Mae 'Haskell' Armstrong.
Stanley married in 1984 and had two sons. Ater a divorce, he moved to Gainesville, Texas, and married Trish
Flanagan. Stanley worked as a welder and cook. He was
empolyed by Polly Pipes and also worked as a convenience store/gas station manager.
Stanley was a loving father, husband, son, brother and
friend. He loved and cared about his family and all of his friends. Everyone at family reunions were always glad to see Stanley. If he wasn't present, they would ask his sons or his dad where he was and how he was doing.
Survivors include his parents, Terrell, Texas; his wife, Trish; two sons, Stanley Armstrong 111, Ardmore, and Aaron Armstrong, Pensacola, Fla.; a sister to his sons, Ashley Davis,Ingston; two brothers, Eric, Ardmore, and Paul, Long Beach, Calif; a niece, Sarabeth Armstrong, Ardmore; and a stepniece, Melynda Diebel, Ardmore.
Services for Stanley Edward Armstrong Jr., 48 were held
at 10:30 a.m. on March 22, 2008, in Griffin-Hillcrest
Funeral Home. Pastor James Wigington officiated.
Visitation was held 6 to 8 p.m. on March 21, 2008, in the Griffin-Hillcrest Funeral Home.
Stanley was loved by his family and friends and he will
be missed by all.
