Carl (Carlton James) Bingham was born in Fannin County Texas. His mother is Mary Louise (Bingham)Hillengass and his grandparents are Christopher B. Bingham and Mary Alice (Bruce)Bingham. We do not know who Carls father is. His mother was not married when Carl was born. Early in his life his grandparents raised them as their own son and not their grandson however close family members knew the truth. In addition Christopher and Mary Alice Bingham's family bible that lists the names of all their children and their birth dates and even some of their death dates but it does NOT list Carl as one of their kids. Carl was never married and as far as we know never had children of his own. He lived close to wherever his mother and her husband Fred Hillengass and their other children lived for most of his life. I met Carl several times at Bingham family reunions in Sulphur Oklahoma when I was a small child. If you check the Texas birth Index you will see that a Louisa Bingham in Fannin County Texas gave birth to an unnamed male child that has the same birth date as Carl. Older Bingham family members that were Carls first cousins have verified this information to me.
