All of my memories of my grandma were all good ones. She was a very kind, loving, caring person.I use to enjoy watching her sew hand made quilts. Most of the material she used was from flour sacks. Flour was packaged in cloth bags. Grandma liked Fritos, without teeth to chew with, she would soak fritos in black coffee so she could eat them. I liked watching her make homemade butter in a glass jar butter churn. She would form a block of butter in a wooden box. She liked to spoil us by buying apple & pecan pies. She stayed with us a lot. It was wonderful having her with us. Stories and information Written By: Ethel May Sweeten Loden and Dee Ann Sweeten Roever, Two of her granddaugthers.
