Darrell C. Bushey was born in Vermont in 1921. His parents were Rollin W. and Maywood Bushey. In 1930 they were living in Milton, Chittenden County, VT. Rollin was 34, carpenter, Maywood 34, keeping house, Milford 11, Darrell 9, Reginald 4 and Clifford 0.
In 1940, they were also in Milton, Vt. Rollin 45, carpenter, Maywood 44, Milford 22, carpenter, Darrell 18, laborer, Reginald 14, and Clifford 10.
Darrell enisted in the service 11 Sept. 1942 at Rutland, Vermont, as a Private.
He had four years of high school and some skilled occupation in building aircraft.
