Mr. Arthur P. Brault (aka King Arthur), age 90, died on Monday, December 7th in Yuba City, California following a lengthy illness.

Mr. Brault was born in Auburn, MA and moved to Lynn, MA as a child. He was the son of the late Napoleon and Emilia (Tessier) Brault of Lynn, MA.

He grew up in Lynn and graduated from Lynn Classical High School. Following his graduation he enrolled in the U.S. Army and served in the Medic Corps in England during World War II from 1942 until his honorable discharge in 1945. Before moving to California, Mr. Brault lived in Derry, New Hampshire for 28 years.

He was preceded in death by his wives, Anne (Cronin) Brault and Shirley (MacLeod) Brault.

Mr. Brault loved to read and was an avid library user, he especially enjoyed reading westerns. In his retirement, he enjoyed meeting his friends at the local park to feed the ducks and to meet and have lunch with his many friends.

He is survived by his four children, Linda Duffy and her husband Philip of Saugus, MA; Philip M. Brault and his wife Linda of Lynn, MA; Janine Frietag and her late husband Conrad Frietag of Tucson, Arizona and Lorraine Williams and her husband Willie, of Yuba City, CA; and seven grandchildren, six great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

He leaves a brother, Edward of Turlock, CA and four sisters, Lucille Letts of Naugatuck, CT; Lorraine MacGillivray, Rita Kenyon and Theresa Brown of Lynn, MA.

He was also preceded in death by his brothers Oliver, Leo, Albert and Raymond of Lynn, MA and a sister, Pauline Bradley of Lynn, MA.

Visitation will start 9:00 a.m. followed by services at 11:00 a.m. at Ullrey Memorial Chapel, Monday, December 14, 2009. Burial will be private at Sutter Cemetery. The family request that donations be made to Sutter North Hospice, 826 4th St., Marysville, CA 95901. Arrangements under the direction of Ullrey Memorial Chapel.
