Obituary - FINLEY T. COLVIN - Finley T. Colvin, 62, retired Pennsylvania railroad foreman, died at 6 a.m. today at his home at 417 Crater ave. following a stroke with which he was stricken at 2 a.m. He had retired from railroad work only last January 24.
Mr. Colvin was born May 25, 1878, in Guernsey, Guernsey co, a son of Zachery T. and Mary Hersey Colvin. He was married Aug. 29, 1900, to Rachel Sigman, who survives with three children; Mrs. James Smith of Wilmot, Willard of Canton and Ralph in the Army in a New Jersey camp.
He also leaves a sister, Mrs. Frank Whitis of Newcomerstown and two brothers; John of Columbus and William of Guernsey.
He was a member of the Maccabee lodge at Newcomerstown and of the Dover United Brethren church.
Funeral will be Sunday at 2 p.m. from the home, the Rev. G. E. Smith, pastor of the Dover U. B. church, and the Rev. P. H. Holderman of Dayton, former pastor, officiating. Burial will be at
Dover Burial Park in charge of the Towland Funeral Home.
Friends may call at the Colvin home after 4 p.m. Friday.
