S.L FAUSER DIES AFTER SUDDEN HEART ATTACK
Collapsed on House_roof While at Work Thursday, Death Following in a Few Hours.
Simon L. Fauser was born in Albany, Iowa, Oct. 31, 1866, the son of John and Louisa Fauser. His youth and the days of his schooling were spent in the place of his nativity.
He was married Aug. 22, 1906, to Miss Rosa May McNaul. Their home since marriage has been in Fayette. Mr. Fauser's occupation has been that of a carpenter, but in the intervals of this employment he has worked at the weaving of rugs and carpets. This he had learned from his father, whose trade it was at Albany for years.
Impaired health did not cause Mr. Fauser to become idle, but he continued to labor, and was working upon the house recently the home of Mrs. Mary Carpenter, when rheumatism from which he had previously suffered, attacked the heart, and accompanied us it was by paralysis of one side of his body, he was obliged to be helped from the root of the house by others. Taken to his home and receiving medical attention and the loving care of his family he lingered until six o'clock of that day, Thursday.
He is survived by his wife and daughter, Miss Bernice, and by two sisters, Mrs. Peter Widger and Mrs. James Hutchison.
Funeral services were conducted at the home Sunday afternoon by Rev. D. M. Parker. Singing was by Prof, and Mrs. J. W. Craln. Interment was in Grandview, the bearers being Myrton Hutchison, James Hutchison Lester Fauser, L. B. Palmer, Arthur Fauser, Peter Fauser.
