William Albea Dies Of Injuries
William P. Albea, Greenfield route 8, died at 1:16 p.m. at memorial hospital as the result of injuries suffered in an automobile accident June 11, he was 84.
Mr. Albea was a retired farmer and a lifelong resident of Hancock county. Born in Mohawk Jan. 19, 1890, he was the son of William H. and Etta J. (Murphy) Albea.
He was president of Hancock Farmers Mutual Insurance Company and a member of the Hancock county Farm Bureau. He also served on the board of directors of the Gravel Lawn Cemetery in Fortville.
Mr. Albea was a member of the Fortville Christian Church, Fortville Masonic Lodge, F&AM No. 207, O.E.S. 149 and I.O.O.F.
His wife, Dora V. (Fuqua) Albea, preceded him in death. He is survived by a niece, Mary C. Cochard of Greenfield route 8, and a nephew, H. H. Bolander of Indianapolis.
Friends may call after 11 a.m. Sunday at the Ronald Seals Funeral Home in Fortville. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the Fortville Christian Church.
