Mrs. B.F. Britt dies Friday night following long illness.
Mrs. B.F. Britt 77 years of age, well known Greenville woman, died at her home on Walworth Steet at 7 o'clock Friday evening following an illness of several months duration.

Nancy Jane Moore was born September 20, 1852 at Camden, Arkansas and came to Hunt County with her mother at the age of 16 years. She was united in marriage to B.F. Britt on October 6, 1870 and they have made their home in and near this city through these many years.

Mrs. Britt was converted at the age of 11 years and united with the Baptist Church.She lived a faithful Christian life and took great pleasure in advancing the Master's cause. She was a charter member of the Lamar Baptist Church abd held membership with that church at the time of her death. She was a devout wife and mother and was held in high esteem by a large circle of friends.
She is survived by her husband and the following children:

Mrs. R.T. Reynolds, of Big Spring;John & Will Britt of Fort Worth; Mrs. R.M. Caraway, Basil Britt and Mrs. A.J. Tolbert, of this city. She was preceded in death by 5 children. She is also survived by 28 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock this afternoon from the Lamar Baptist Church, conducted by her pastor, Rev. W.B. McDaniel assisted by Rev. G.H. Jesse, Rev. H.T. Money and Rev. Joseph Pearce.
Active pallbearers will be Lovell, Frank, Ben and L.M. Britt, Glen Caraway and William Little.

Honorary pallbearers will be all friends and neighbors.
Her parents were: E.B. Moore and Mary Cooper.
