Mrs. Anna Rose Jacobs Dies
in Her Home Wednes-
day Morning

Mrs. Anna Rose Jacobs, 69,
widow of R. E. Jacobs, died at
11:30 o'clock Wednesday morn-
ing in her home, 210 East Har-
din street. She had been in fail-
ing health for the past six years.
Mrs. Jacobs was born in
Franklin county, Ind., March 9,
1871. Her parents were Mr. and
Mrs. H. S. Jaques. She was mar-
ried Oct 17, 1891, to R. E. Jacobs
and moved to Findlay. He died
June 6, 1935.
Five children were born, four
of whom survive. They are Mrs.
Martha Hiegel, at home; Mrs.
Robert R. Webb, 115 Summit
street; J. Kenneth (Toddie)
Jacobs, 528 North Cory street,
and H. Ross Jacobs, of Lima. A
son, Carl, is dead. There are
seven grandchildren.
She is survived also by two
sisters, Miss Edna Jaques of
Brookville, Ind., and Mrs. A. J.
Reifel, of Gas City, Ind., and two
brothers, I. A. Jaques, of Bath,
Ind., and J. A. Jaques, of Akron.
Mrs. Jacobs was a member of
the Traveler's club and the Profit
and Pleasure club. She was a
member of the First Methodist church.
Services will be held at 2
o'clock Friday afternoon in the
Coldren funeral home. Dr. C. C.
Shedd will officiate. Burial will
be in Maple Grove.
The body will remain at the
funeral home until after the rites.
