Alfonso Bedoya was born in Sonora,Mexico in 1904. He lead a nomadic childhood moving from place to place. He was educated for a short time in Houston, Texas.When he got older he found work as a charactor actor in both the United States and Mexico. He is remembered for his role in the movie "Treasure of Sierra Madre" where his line "Badges"? "We ain't got no badges" "We don't need no badges" "I don't have to show you any stinkin badges" became a famous line in Hollywood film history. He died in Mexico City, Mexico in 1957 at the age of 53.

I thought the scenes between you, Gregory Peck and Old Thunder were classic in the marvellous film The Big Country. Rest in Peace.
