Evan Henry Carroll, age 86, died November 11, 1991, in West Valley City.
Born September 24, 1905, in Pacheco, Chihuahua, Mexico, a son of James F. and Mary Bell Black Carroll. Married Winafred Lake June 7, 1940, in Salt Lake LDS Temple. Served mission in the Central States. He was an ordinance worker in the Jordan River LDS Temple for nine years. He was also a High Priest in Taylorsville 12th Ward.
Survived by: three daughters, Mrs. Richard (ElRae) Bench, LeAnn Jackson, Mrs. Brian (Pat) Hague, all of Salt Lake City; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Wayne C., Mabel Shumway, Dollie Shipley, half brothers, Vivan, Willard and Lester Carroll; half sister, Elizabeth Wright.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, 11 a.m., at the Taylorsville 12th Ward, 4505 South 3420 West. Friends may call Tuesday, 5-8 p.m., at McDougal Golden Rule Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road, and Wednesday at the church, one hour prior to services. Interment, Lake Hills Cemetery.
