Long time resident of Honolulu, he was part owner of Kau Kau Korner and Chapman's Chicken Coop; member of King Solomon Lodge No. 260, Islam Temple and Scottish Rite in San Francisco; and a former Scout Master for the Salvation Army Boys' Home in Honolulu. He is survived by his wife, June; daughter, Mrs. Patricia Leilani Ross; and nephews, John M., Landy G. and Anthony A. Chapman.
