Birth: May 21, 1926
Death: Aug. 9, 1998

Helen was the first child of Albert Leo and Helen Steinhauser. Helen was her own woman, and always marched to her own drum, often doing things that were out of the ordinary for a girl of her times. She is remembered for demanding to be allowed to take wood shop in school, and her fine artistic and culinary ability. She married her husband Nicholas Golio in 1947 and had 1 daughter with him, Patricia. Helen and Nicholas split after years, but Helen's life went on. Her interests were wide spread and she is always a topic of conversation at family reunions, where even the relatives who didn't know her have fond memories of their aunt. In the end Helen began to forget, her mind deteriorating. She finally passed away in 1998. She was survived by 1 brother, 6 sisters, her daughter, 2 granddaughters, and many nieces and nephews. Always loved and never forgotten Helen's spirit and love will live on forever. Rest In Peace.
