Lily Brown, 88


Lima - Lily Brown, 88, died on Aug. 1 in Pocatello, Idaho. She was born Dec. 29, 1908, in Annis, Idaho, to Charles and Phoebe Clark. She attended schools in Annis and graduated from high school in Lima where she met and married Charles Pat Brown on Nov. 10, 1926. They lived in Monida for a short time before settling in Lima.


In recent years, she resided with her granddaughter in Pocatello. At the time of her death, she was a resident of Bannock Regional Medical Center in Pocatello.


Lily is survived by a son of Dillon; daughters-in-law of Dillon and Drummond; son-in-law of Pocatello; seven grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Edna Mihelish of Basalt, Idaho.


Funeral services will be at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Lima at 2 p.m. Tuesday, with burial in the Lima Cemetery.
