BENJAMIN FELTON (Skelton, Joseph, Skelton, Nathaniel, Nathaniel)

b. Sept 6, 1792; m. Jan. 21, 1821, Lucretia Sturgis Nye, b. in Oakham, May 11, 1801, dau. of Timothy and Parnel Nye; she died in Barre, Mass., March 26, 1830, aged 29 years.

Capt. Felton m. second, Nov 4, 1830, Ruth Maranda Johnson, b. about 1808, daughter of Perrin Johnson.

Capt. Felton was employed several years in teaming from Barre to Boston, through Marlborough. He died at Worcester, April 6, 1875, aged 82 years; buried in Oakham near Barre, Mass.

Widow Ruth M. Felton died at Roxbury Highlands, March 5, 1884, aged 76 years.
