"Northeast Mississippi Daily Journal" Tupelo, Mississippi 24 Apr 1979 MILTON BARBER Baldwyn - Milton White Barber, 76, Pontotoc, died Monday at Pontotoc Community Hospital after an extended illness. A former resident of the Ozark Community, he was a retired farmer and a member of Ozark Methodist Church. Services will be 3 p.m. Tuesday at Ozark Methodist Church with burial in the church cemetery. Brother Grady Davidson and Brother Billy Lovell will officiate. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Fay Simmons Barber; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Carl Weckel of Randolph, Mrs. Billy Tutor of Pontotoc; four sons, Wayne Barber of Marietta, Robert Barber of Kenosha, Wis., Wade Barber of Mantachie, Jody Barber of Fulton; a stepson, Jay McGregory of Memphis, Tenn.; four sisters, Mrs. Ernie Lyle of Tupelo, Mrs. Virginia Brewer of Nashville, Tenn., Mrs. Robbin Dickerson of Memphis, Mrs. Willie Mae Berthay of Indiana; a brother, Clifton Barber of tupelo; 11 grandchildren and four great grandchildren. The body will be at Waters Funeral Home until time for services.
