Jim Angel, Charlotte, NC May 6, 1943 - May 7, 2013 Jim was born in Hope, Arkansas, the only child of Herbert Angel and Louise Jones Angel, who preceded him in death. Jim retired from the US Air Force in 1982 having served over 20 years. He was employed by Rockwell Collins Aerospace and Boeing International as a field service engineer. He had a lifelong love of airplanes. His wife Jan Angel survives him along with his son Trevor Angel, daughters Toni Carringer (Kevin) and Susan Carrington; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild; stepson Jeffrey Jewell and stepdaughter Kristy Grouse (CJ); five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren through marriage. A Mass of Christian burial will be held for Jim on Friday at 10:00 A.M.at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Charlotte.
