Schuyler Lake - Mrs. Edith M. Boyden, 69, of Schuyler Lake, a registered nurse, died Thursday, March 22, at Bassett, Cooperstown after a extended illness.
She was born September 4,1909 at Little Falls, a daughter of Earl and Eunice (Pauth) Goodrich. She was graduated from Little Falls High School; attended Brooklyn College was graduated from St. Luke's Hospital School of Nursing, Utica.
She was married to Albert B. Boyden on January 1, 1938 at Little Falls.
She has been employed as a nurse at Bassett Hospital as well as hospitals in Memphis Tenn. and New Orleans, La. She has also been employed at the Meadows, Cooperstown.
Surviving are her husband and her father, both of Schuyler Lake and one niece.
The funeral and committal, will be at 2 p. m. Saturday, March 24, at the Ingalls, Connell & Dow Funeral Home, Cooperstown, with the Rev. Joseph H. Duncan, Pastor of the First Baptist Church officiating.
