Mary Louise Morrison was baptized April 12, 1863 at Northwest Dutch Church (Madison Avenue Reformed Church) in New York City.



"MRS. LUNT WILLS $800,000 ESTATE TO EASTERN KIN


"Mrs. Louise M. Lunt, 80, of 840 Vine street, who died Dec. 12, left an estate of $846,787, the bulk of which will go to four nephews and two nieces of New York and Florida, it was disclosed Friday in her will presented for probate in County Judge Kettering's court. Mrs. Polla Rewson Watkins Spalding of 316 Dalia street, a granddaughter, will receive $45,000, a diamond broach and part of the furnishings of the Lunt home. The will further states the granddaughter may purchase for $25,000 the Lunt home, three lots on which it stands and two adjacent lots.


"Mrs. Lunt, who came to Denver in 1899 from New York city, was the widow of Robert P. Lunt, prominent here in real estate. On his death in 1938, he left her $95,000, but the main part of her fortune was inherited from her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Edward A. Morrison of New York city.


"The gross value of the personal estate was $839,287, of real estate, $7,500.


"Chief beneficiaries were four nephews Richard and Philip Cobden of Daytona Beach, Fla., John and Edward A. M. Cobden of Larchmont, N. Y., and two nieces, Julia M. Black and Louise M. Corsa of New York city. Thety share equally.


"A friend, Mrs. Mabel Powell of 1400 Madison street, will get $10,000, and another friend, Marie E. George, Kansas City, Mo., $12,000.


"Others named in the will are :


"Reuben Broyles, chauffeur, $1,000, Edward A. Morrison of London, England, a nephew, $5,000; Josephine Morrison of New York city, a niece, $5,000; Clara Louise Carey of Plainfield, N. J., $3,000; Marjorie L. Young, of Kansas City, Mo., niece by marriage, $5,000; Edith L. Weber of Fort Worth, Texas, a niece by marriage, $5,000; Evra L. Phillips of West Court hotel, Denver, $3,000; Laura Anderson of 840 Vine street, $2,000.


"Mrs. Sarah Snare of Carr, Colo., will receive $60 semiannually under a trust."
