RICHFIELD - Richard Lynn Anderson, age 21, died March 10, 1982 in a coal mine accident in Salina Canyon.

Born February 5, 1961, Richfield, Utah, to Scott David and Judy Sessions Anderson. He had been a coal miner. Graduate of Richfield High School in 1979. Pitched baseball for Richfield High School for three years. Active in Sports and loved the outdoors.

Survivors: Parents, Richfield; one brother, two sisters, Mrs. Bryan (Teresa) McCarty, Jeffrey Scott Anderson, Mitsy Lee Anderson, all Richfield; grandparents, Melvin D. and Dona S Anderson, Richfield, Bud and Bernice Sessions, Elsinore.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 13, 1982 at 1:00 p.m. in the Richfield 8th LDS Ward Chapel. Friends may call at the Neal S. Magleby and Sons Mortuary, Friday evening from 7-9 p.m. and Saturday morning from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Burial: Richfield City Cemetery.
