A daughter of Amasa and Abigail (Fenn) Hart. Abigail married Leverett Culver, a son of James and Hannah (Tucker) Culver.
Abigail's father, Amasa, was one of the early settlers of the town of Wallingford, Vermont. He came from Wallingford, Connecticut, and located in the area of Wallingford, Vermont, called Hartsboro, so named for the Hart family. This section of Wallingford is still known as Hartsboro to this day. Her nephew, (son of her brother, Irad), was inventor Gilbert Hart who invented the Hart Emery Wheel. The Library at Wallingford that bears his name will ever be a memorial to his beneficence and love for his native town.
Abigail Hart descends from the immigrant Stephen Hart who came to Colonial America in 1632:(Abigail, Amasa, Timothy, Nathaniel, Hawkins, Thomas, Stephen).
