Mr. Gilbert Lee Darnall, 67, of Brandenburg, KY died Friday, February 24, 2012 at his residence.

He was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church and an Army Veteran. Mr. Darnall was preceded in death by his father, Harold D. Darnall and a brother, Gordon.

He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Edith Lawson Darnall, 2 Daughters, Elissa (Bobby) Gagel, Battletown, KY and Emily (Brian) Pollock, Ekron, KY, his Mother, Evelyn Darnall, Brandenburg, KY, 7 Brothers and sisters, Larry (Bonnie) Darnall, Faye (Sonny) Miller, Guston, KY, Louie (Peggy) Darnall, Brandenburg, KY, Donna (Dana) Rosson, Ekron, KY, Danny (Pam) Darnall, Elizabethtown, KY, Debbie Gossett and Barbara (Bill) Lowther, Brandenburg, KY, 5 Grandchildren, Keston, Dawson and Ella Gagel and Brendin and Brady Pollock.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday from Bethel United Methodist Church with burial in the church cemetery. Friends may call at Hager Funeral Home from Noon until 8 PM Monday and at the church from 10:00 AM until 2:00 PM Tuesday.
