Alta L. Freeman Page, 69, of Ozark, Arkansas, died, Wednesday, March 20, 2013 in Ozark. She was of the Pentecostal Faith and a Retired Certified Nurses Aid. She was born January 28, 1944 in Jethro Community, Franklin Co, Arkansas to Jesse M. and Lucy Cowan Freeman. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday, March 22, 2013 at Shaffer Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Jan Akins officiating, with burial at Oak Ridge Cemetery in Ozark, under the direction of Shaffer Funeral Home.
She is survived by her son, Kipp Upton and wife Amy of Ozark; one sister, Freda Vaughan of Altus, Arkansas; two brothers, Kenneth and Bill Freeman both of Altus; two granddaughters, Anna and Emily Upton both of Ozark; many nieces and nephews.
The family will visit with friends from 6:00 – 7:00 PM, Thursday, March 21, 2013 at Shaffer Funeral Home 2315 W. Commercial in Ozark.
