Earl A. Miller
HANOVER JUNCTION – Earl A. Miller, 70, Seven Valleys RD 1, near here, husband of the late Llewella Markel Miller, died at 8:35 a.m. Thursday at York Hospital.
A retired employee of Sieling Company, Railroad, he was a member of the United Church of Christ congregation of Zion (Shaffer's) Union Church and of its Sunday School. He was a director of the Church Cemetery Association, a member of Seven Valleys Fire Company and was a son of the late Adam R. and Philphean Utz Miller.
Surviving are five children, John A. Miller, 1152 Southern Road, York; Eugene E. Miller, Spring Grove RD 2; Mrs. Leona O. Horn, 2nd Street, New Freedom; Mrs. Floe E. Fuhrman, New Freedom RD 2, and Robert A. Miller, Enola; 11 grandchildren, a great-grandchild; two sisters, Mrs. Hattie Greenplate, Seven Valleys RD 1, and Mrs. Sarah Geisler, Spring Grove RD, and a brother, Paul L. Miller, Seven Valleys RD 2.
His pastor, the Rev. George E. Heisey, will officiate at funeral services at 2 p.m. Sunday at Zion (Shaffer's) Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
