Morgan Emily Mackey, 26, died suddenly Aug. 29, 2011, in Harbinger, N.C.
She was born Jan. 7, 1985, in Elizabeth City, N.C.
Morgan was an electrician and longtime employee of BRS Electric of KDH, N.C.
She touched so many lives and left her footprints in their hearts.
Survivors are her parents, Drenda Mackey of Fairport Harbor and Ron Mackey of Florida; sister, Meridith Mackey of Roper, N.C.; grandmother, Ann "Mummie" Knuth of Fairport Harbor; beloved dog, Joey; aunts and uncles, Dawn and Dan Sherwood of Fairport Harbor, Dennis and Sharon Mackey, Dwayne and Doris Knuth, all of Mentor; and many other cousins, relatives and friends too numerous to mention who loved her dearly and will greatly miss her.
Memorial services will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 1, 2011, at Zion Lutheran Church, 508 Eagle St., Fairport Harbor. A memorial was held Sept. 2, 2011, at Avalon Fishing Pier in KDH, N.C.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in her name may be made to the family c/o Drenda Mackey or to Zion Lutheran Church.
