Sylvester Adwell (1875 - 1927) born in Mt. Hermon, Monroe Co. Ky. oldest s/o John Samuel and Sarah Elizabeth (Roe) Adwell. My grandfather came to Texas in the early 1900s by wagon train with his father and siblings. They settled in Itasca in the middle of Hill Co. Sylvester was a photogropher among other things. He took pictures of this trip. He married Mary Francis Lyons (1880 - 1903) born in Monroe Co. Ky. 1/30/1902. He married Myntie Frances Wilborn (1887-1971) born in Mt. Hermon, Barren Co. Ky. . A little know fact is that his wives were first cousins.

Granddaddy, Although I never knew you, Grandmother always spoke very highly of you. I just want you to know you are remembered and thought of.
